What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They allow a site to remember information between page loads. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways and are treated the same way in this policy.

What this site uses

Strictly necessary cookies. This site runs on WordPress. A small number of cookies are used to make pages load and display correctly, to remember display preferences, and to keep the site secure. These do not identify you personally and cannot be switched off without affecting how the site works. No consent is required for cookies of this kind.

Advertising and tracking cookies. This site does not use them. We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not embed social media tracking. Nothing on this site builds a profile of you or follows you to other websites.

Analytics cookies. This site does not use them. We do want to know roughly how many people read the site, but we get that from the traffic statistics our hosting provider produces from its own server logs. That happens on the server, not on your device, so nothing is stored on or read from your browser and no identifier is created for you.

Booking cookies. Our booking page contains a scheduling calendar provided by Calendly. Calendly sets its own cookies, which it uses to run the calendar, remember your progress through a booking, and measure how its service performs. These are not strictly necessary.

How the booking calendar works

The calendar does not load automatically. On the booking page you will see a button to load it, and nothing is requested from Calendly and no Calendly cookie is set until you choose to press it.

If you would rather not load it, you can email emmanuel@kilvora.co.uk instead and we will arrange a time that way. Every other page on this site is unaffected and sets nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies described above.

Once loaded, what Calendly does with the information it collects is governed by its own cookie and privacy policies, available on its website. If you want to remove its cookies afterwards, you can clear them through your browser settings as described below.

Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them or deleting cookies already stored on your device. Guidance is available on the support pages of each major browser.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site working as intended.

If this changes

If we ever introduce another cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your agreement before it is set.
